Nolin River Lake

The Grayson County shore, three launches on one stretch of KY 88 from Peonia: Conoloway Road (single lane, no facilities), the Iberia sign (Corps fee ramp, seasonal, the public beach) and Wax (ramp, day use and 110-site campground, all run by Wax Marina now).

"Just read the gauge."Read the right parameter. USGS 03310900 offers 62614 (lake elevation, NGVD29 — compares to 515/492) and 00065 (gage height, local datum — does not). Corps office (270) 286-4511: the lake runs on Central time.
"Crappie, bass and walleye are statewide."Not here. KDFWR: crappie "Must be 10 inches or over"; largemouth and smallmouth "Must be 15 inches or over - Limit 6 per angler"; walleye "Must be 14 inches or over, Limit 6 per angler".
What coming down actually changes on this road
Iberia: Corps "open from April 1 until October 31"; KDFWR "Seasonal - 24 Hours" for ramp and shoreline. Conoloway and Wax: "Year Round - 24 Hours". After 31 October, Wax is this road's only year-round multi-lane ramp, and its fee is the marina's (reasoning from the flags; no agency prints a winter-pool note for any ramp here).

Wax answers to Wax Marina now

Wax: "Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Wax Day Use area (to include boat ramp, parking area, picnic area and restrooms) at Nolin River Lake will be managed by Wax Marina." — and since Feb 2026 the campground too; "please contact the marina regarding fees", 270-242-7205. Conoloway: KDFWR "Ramp Fee: Yes", but not a Corps-operated ramp — who collects is status pending. No courtesy dock on this road.
