Green River Lake
The state park peninsula on the north shore of the Green River arm, two miles south of Campbellsville and two miles in on KY 1061: two free multi-lane ramps with docks, the only KDFWR-flagged cleaning station on the lake, a 227-site campground open into December, a beach, an accessible pier and Green River Marina.

Three numbers to get right
What you hear
What the primary sources actually say
"The drawdown is one drop."
Two stages. 675.0 to 674.5 from 15 Sep to 14 Oct, then 674.5 to 668.0 from 15 Oct to 1 Dec. Refill 15 Mar to 15 May (USACE Fill and Drawdown).
"Just read the gauge."
Read the right parameter. USGS 03305990 offers 62614 (lake elevation, NGVD29 — compares to 675/668) and 00065 (gage height, local datum — does not). Only 120 days stay online.
"Walleye and muskie are statewide."
Half right. Walleye is the statewide 14 in and 6. Muskellunge is not: "Must be 40 inches or over", statewide creel; crappie 9-inch minimum.
What coming down actually changes on this road
Both ramps are year-round, 24 hours, multi-lane with a courtesy dock: State Marina with 51-plus parking and the cleaning station, Lone Valley inside the park with 26–50. The winter launch with a dock (reasoning: this is main body, not an arm). Campground "Open through Tue Dec 15 2026"; after peak season, "call the park."
What the state's own site would not tell us. parks.ky.gov returned a navigation shell: park hours, day-use fees and beach season are status pending. From the reservation system: 179 Park Office Road, Campbellsville, (270) 465-8255; "Hwy 55 South, 4 mi. turn on 1061, 2 miles park entrance"; from Bowling Green, Cumberland Parkway "Exit 49/Hwy 55 North through Columbia".
